FALMOUTH BRANCH MANAGER

New position listing! Main-Land is seeking an experienced site civil engineer to lead our Falmouth, Maine branch office. You’ll lead a team of friendly professionals, manage important clients in Southern Maine, and help guide the direction of Main-Land.
A note from the President: “Our branch in Falmouth is growing and will become a major part of our business. We need someone to step up, take the reins, and lead our branch, positively influencing all of Southern Maine. The successful candidate will lead our Falmouth team and will have a seat on our Board of Directors / Leadership Management Team, helping guide Main-Land in the future. Are you ready?”

 
What do you need?

 

  • Professional Engineer’s license
  • 10+ years of experience in the site/civil engineering field, with private development skills a plus
  • A willingness to learn leadership skills and to grow personally and professionally
  • A positive, friendly attitude
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, HydroCAD, Word, Excel, digital file management, software-based project management, and other computer-based tools
  • Regulatory permit process and public presentation experience
  • Construction administration and inspection field experience
  • Interpersonal skills and self-introspection

Main-Land is seeking an experienced site civil engineer to fill a senior level project management and design position. A successful candidate will quickly take on project and client management, technical staff mentoring, and some business development.

What do you need?


Maine Professional Registration – or ability to obtain registration within 6 months
8 – 12 years of experience – management lead responsibility for site civil and development projects
Proficient in AutoCAD, HydroCAD, Word, Excel, digital file management, software-based project management, and other computer-based tools.
Regulatory permit process and public presentation experience
Construction administration and inspection field experience
Interpersonal skills and self-introspection
Positive and friendly attitude

We need someone to step up, mentor our technicians, and lead them. The senior position manages our environmental projects and mentors our team. If you’re ready, the director position will lead our environmental sciences department. Are you ready for something more?”

Preferred certifications and skills include:
Maine Soil Scientist and/or Licensed Site Evaluator
8-10 years of experience – field delineations, mapping, and environmental permitting
Proficient in Word, Excel, digital file management, software-based project management, and other computer-based tools
NRPA and Army Corp permit process experience
Team management skills a plus
Interpersonal skills and self-introspection
Positive and friendly attitude
Humility and willingness to learn and lead
Drive to grow and advance
