SITE CIVIL ENTRY-LEVEL ENGINEER

About the Position
Main-Land is seeking an entry-level civil engineer to fill a Staff 1 position. A successful candidate will be mentored, work on projects important to Mainers and communities, and grow towards advancement.

Preferred certifications and skills include:
BS in Engineering (or pending graduation) required – FE preferred, but not required – 0 years of experience required. Proficient in AutoCAD, Word, Excel, and other computer-based tools.

1. SENIOR – DIRECTING ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST
You’re an expert environmental scientist. You know land, and we want your experience. Are you ready for something more? Are you ready to lead then the next generation of scientists?
About the Position
Main-Land is seeking an experienced environmental scientist to fill a senior or directing position. A successful candidate will quickly take on project and client management, project environmental science lead, and technical staff mentoring.
A note from the President. “To responsibly develop property, we need to know the land. Our team of environmental scientists love land. And Main-Landers love people. We need someone to step up, mentor our technicians, and lead them. The senior position manages our environmental projects and mentors our team. If you’re ready, the director position will lead our environmental sciences department. Are you ready for something more?”
What do you need?
Preferred certifications and skills include:
Maine Soil Scientist and/or Licensed Site Evaluator
8-10 years of experience – field delineations, mapping, and environmental permitting
Proficient in Word, Excel, digital file management, software-based project management, and other computer-based tools
NRPA and Army Corp permit process experience
Team management skills a plus
Interpersonal skills and self-introspection
Positive and friendly attitude
Humility and willingness to learn and lead
Drive to grow and advance

What do you need?
- Preferred certifications and skills include:
Maine Soil Scientist and/or Licensed Site Evaluator - 4-8 years of experience – field delineations and mapping
- Proficient in Word, Excel, digital file management, software-based project management, and other computer-based tools
NRPA and Army Corp permit process experience a plus. - Team management skills a plus
- Interpersonal skills and self-introspection
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Humility and willingness to learn and lead
